2019-11-23As a manufacturer of high polymer modified asphalt waterproof coating, let me take you to understand what work needs to be done in the leveling layer treatment during waterproof construction!
Whether it is cement mortar or fine aggregate concrete, the proportion needs to be reasonable, which is the foundation for ensuring its strength and stiffness.
Need to compress and flatten the leveling layer. When using cement mortar to level the surface, the cement mortar should be cleaned twice after being exposed to water. Flat pressing and complete curing, without any brittleness, polishing, or peeling. When using fine aggregate concrete, micro expansion agents can be added to improve the crack resistance of the leveling layer.
To reduce cracking in the leveling layer, it is recommended to install a roof leveling layer. The spacing between cement mortar or fine aggregate concrete leveling joints should not exceed 6m; when using asphalt mortar, the spacing between separation joints should not exceed 4m.
Highlight the intersection points between the roof structure (walls, railings, deformation joints, chimneys, etc.) and the roof, as well as details (water drops, spouts, ditches, ridges, etc.), which need to be made into an arc shape.
Before laying the roof moisture-proof layer or waterproof layer, the base layer needs to be clean and dry. The simple drying test method is as follows: place a 1 square meter roll on a leveling layer, let it stand for 3 to 4 hours, and then open it. If no watermark is seen in the horizontal coverage area and coil, it can be laid. Steam layer or waterproof layer.
